LOCATION:
Phil's Transmission is located at 545 SE 3rd Street, corner of 3rd and Western in Corvallis.
Phil took automotive classes in high school and upon graduation in 1965 started work as a service station mechanic. In 1966, Phil joined the army and continued working in automotive repair. Upon leaving the service, Phil worked for several different automotive repair shops. Phil and Augie opened Phil's Transmission in 1992. In 1998, Annie came on board. Augie and Annie worked together and supervised until November 2nd, 2004. Annie continues to assist Phil and the rest of the staff. Phil has been ATRA certified since 1992 and is also an ASE certified master automotive technician.
